This Is My Hour Of Power*

“According to the Power that worketh in us" Eph. 3:20.

FIRST:  I have power "working in me" for I have God within me. "For it is God who worketh in me both to will and do of His own good pleasure" Phil. 2:13. God is actually working inside me, and this I know: "God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this, that power belongeth unto God" Psalm 62:11.

SECOND:  I have power "working in me" in the wonderful Name of Jesus. Jesus has deputized me to use the authority of His Name (John 14:13‑14). The Name of Jesus is the Name above all names (Phil. 2:9). In the power of His Name, I min­ister healing to the sick, cast out demons, and ex­ercise the authority of Christ in doing His works. (John 14:12, Mark. 16:17, Acts 3:16).

THIRD:  This is my hour of power to witness for Christ with effectiveness for He has endued me with power for this purpose (Acts 1:8, Luke 24:49). As a witness endued with power, I am forever done with anemic, deficient, impotent living. This Spirit‑power working in me invigorates my body, refreshes my mind, sustains me in trial and fortifies me to be bold in witnessing (Romans 8:11, Acts 4:31).

FOURTH:  I know that "all power in heaven and in earth" has been given to my Lord (Matt. 28:18). Now by His Spirit He indwells me, so I declare boldly, "Greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world" 1 John 4:4. Through the Greater One who empowers me, I rout the railing accusations of Satan (Rev. 12:10), I reject condem­nation (Rom. 8:1), I refuse fear (II Tim. 1:7), and I overcome his harassing ways (I Pt. 5:9).

FIFTH:  I have "power working in me" when I boldly confess the Word. The Word is the Sword of the Spirit that defeats Satan. My confession of the Word creates powerful results: Healing, strength, money, blessing.

SIXTH:  I have "power working in me" when I heartily praise the Lord. Praise is power released unto God that brings from Him a mighty response. By simply praising the Lord, supernatural things happen all the time: bodies healed, demons cast out, peace restored to troubled hearts. O, the power of praise! God is restoring to my life this power right now; I shall praise Him! Hallelujah, praise the Lord!

SEVENTH: This is my hour of power. "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen" Eph. 3:19‑21.
